Victoria University Students Treated with toothsome End of Year dinner

Last Saturday will forever remain another memorable day in the life of students at Victoria University one of the leading uptown private universities in the region.

The students were treated to a mouth-watering and delectable cocktail dinner to celebrate the end of year exams.

The function took place at Speke Resort Munyonyo at Pool side.

The function started with the singing of Ugandan anthem, East African anthem, Victoria University anthem and a lot of entertainment from Mr Happy-Saxophone play and comedian-Don Andre.

In her remarks Victoria University Guild President-Mariah Peggy Nabunya congratulated the students upon successfully completing their exams and wished them merry festive season.

Dr. Krishna N. Sharma the Vice chancellor also his remarks said 2018 has been the best year for the university saying that the team registered a lot of successes.

He said the university managed to produce 25 publications and that a couple of them were by published the students themselves.

He further said they also managed to sign a number of memorandums of understanding with various entities from across the region and from western world.

Dr Sharma noted that this has also been the best year of the university with huge number of intakes and added that next year will be more powerful with a lot of research and innovations.
