Former Director of Crime Intelligence in police, Col Atwooki Ndahura, the former commandant of the police Flying Squad Unit Herbert Muhangi have this afternoon appeared before the military court martial.
They also appeared alongside Senior Superintendent of Police Nixon Agasiirwe the former commandant Special Operations Unit.
They are all to be jointly charged with former IGP Gen. Kale Kayihura for failure to protect war materials.
They have been under incarceration at the Makindye military police cells ever since they were arrested in Kampala in June last year.
Kayihura is already charged with aiding and abetting the kidnapping by commission, repatriating Rwandan exile and refugees and Ugandan citizens to Rwanda between 2012 and 2016.
He was also accused of failing to protect war material by issuing arms to unauthorized persons including Boda Boda 2010 members led by jailed Abdallah Kitatta between 2010 and 2018.
He was however released on bail to enable him to go for specialized treatment abroad and ordered to report to court every first week of the month.
