President Museveni has appointed his blued eyed boy Major Jimmy Kabira as the deputy commander of Commando Section of Special Forces Command (SFC).

Having been informed about the chaos in the police investigation, President Museveni dispatched a team from the Special Forces Command (SFC) led by then Captain Kabila to provide him with the truth.
Relying on Kabanda’s advice, Capt Kabila arrested the suspects who also voluntarily confessed to the murder.
Maj Kabila also recovered guns and arrested more suspects involved in the killings in Bugiri and Namayingo.
In 2014, Maj Kabila also participated in a rescue mission for Somali parliament after it was attacked and sieged by Alshaabab militants.

The attack on parliament, a building about 300 meters (328 yards) from the president’s palace that is guarded by Uganda Peoples Defense Force soldiers serving under Amisom.
The attack started with a car bomb at a gate to the heavily fortified parliament compound, followed by a suicide bombing and then a gun battle that continued for hours.
President after being informed that some Somali MPs were being held hostage inside parliament, he sent Maj Kabira to rescue them.
UPDF Commandos commanded by Maj Kabira managed to secure the parliament and rescue the legislators killing over 50 terrorists while UPDF lost three officers.
The African Union Mission in Somalia said in a statement that all the lawmakers who were in parliament before the attack were safely evacuated.
